Coming this June, Wicked brings a fantastic twist to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz based on Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West - the 1995 revisionist novel by Gregory Maguire. Now adapted for the stage, Wicked is a must-see musical for teens and adults which has enjoyed successful runs on Broadway, the West End, Chicago, San Francisco and more.
Featuring characters Elphaba, Galinda, Nessarose, Fiyero and, of course, The Wizard of Oz, Wicked subverts expectations in an exciting retelling of The Wizard of Oz with new events, situations and twists that turn the original tale on its head. This musical comes hand-in-hand with fresh musical numbers, bold costumes and mature themes not found in The Wizard of Oz as you know it, offering a thrilling retelling that isn’t to be missed if you loved the original story as a child or read Gregory Maguire’s bestselling Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West.
